The piece is written for, and performed by the mechanical organ The Busy Drone.
Since the Mechanical Organ’s repertoire is mostly versions of poppy songs from the 19th century, it was interesting for me to create a new piece for this instrument, influenced by the pop music as I know it today: Metal, Electronica, etc.
This piece was commission by, and performed in the Oorgelpark in Amsterdam 2012.
